Ineos Olefins Belgium N.V. - Project One

The Ethane Cracker converts ethane gas into ethylene. Hydrogen, a by-product of the cracking process, is used as a zero CO2 fuel for the furnaces. The environmental footprint is less than half of the average European crackers of a similar size. Customers supplied with ethylene from Project ONE can reduce their CO2 emissions by 2 million tonnes per year because they are no longer dependent on ethylene from more polluting plants.
