A new biofactory for aerobic and anaerobic treatment of the wastewater

The activities mainly consisted on:

The following was needed to be built for the new biofactory of aerobic and anaerobic wastewater treatment of the current facility.

  • A new incinerator plant including waste heat recovery and flue gas treatment for destruction of the
    CWW-stream. The incinerator will use existing waste streams as fuel.
  • Interconnecting scope: all required equipment, storage tanks, piping, tie-ins, pipe racks, foundations, power supply, instrumentation and process control work to integrate the new bioplant and incinerator plant in the existing facility.

Multi-D works;

  • Detail engineering of concrete and steel piperack;
  • Earth works;
  • Reinforced concrete works (+/- 7.500 m3, including elevated structures);
  • Construction of reinforced concrete Moving Bed Bioreactor (MBBR) basin and slab, 9 m high;
  • Grouting;
  • Produce and install pre-casted and steel piperacks;
  • Installation and testing of underground services i.e. piping and earthing systems;
  • Realization reinforced concrete paving with gutter and grating;
  • Detail design, engineering and construction of Satellite Instrument House and Substation;
  • Construction of asphalt road;
